2004 Ford Expedition
The 2004 Ford Expedition is the result of improvement on the design and engineering
of the 2003 Ford Expedition. The 2004 model of the Expedition series is smoother,
more comfortable and more safety-conscious than the previous Ford Expeditions.
The 2004 Expedition added the simple yet practical feature of placing a small
center seat in the second row to give parents easy access to their toddler. Aside
from that safety precautionary features have been added such as a lower front
bumper, an optional safety curtain which is designed to protect the passengers
in a roll-over accident.
AdvanceTrac electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes have been used to
give the driver better grip and control of the car and help reduce chances of
skidding on slippery streets. Extra consideration has been given to drivers of
diminutive size, because the 2004 Expedition has the added adjustable pedals for
comfortable reach and driving posture. It is also equipped with the Reverse Sensing
System which can warn the driver if he is backing up against a solid object like
a playing child, a tree or another car.

The 2004 Expedition borrows from the 2003 Expedition its Power-Fold third row
seat which gives car owners the optional luggage space. Aside from all these impressive
features, the Expedition can never be a boring car because it has an awesome entertainment
system which includes a rear-seat DVD entertainment system. There are two types
of engines available in the Expedition series, the standard 4.6-liter V8 rated
and the 5.4-liter V8. The 2004 Expedition comes in five trim levels: XLS, XLT,
XLT Sport, and Eddie Bauer.
