Ford Expedition Problem

Though the Expedition is a top of the line SUV, it has meet a few "bumps" on the road. Customers have complained of quite a few problems such as buzz in idle while stopped in gear and a vibration/moan at highway speed. Remedies have been made and yet none has worked to silence the moaning sound, and the best explanation Ford engineers have is "well it is a truck and we have done all we can to solve the problem".

 

Another problem which surfaced is about an unwanted vibration when the SUV reaches a speed of 61mph and above, it appears that the source of the problem has yet to be detected as one customer had his tires, rear axle and drive shaft replaced yet to no avail. A blown head gasket is also a problem with the Expedition series.
